"Dirty Dozen" Pesticide Heavy Fruits and Veggies
For the 10th year in a row, nonprofit advocacy agency the Environmental Working Group (EWG) has released its list of the most pesticide-contaminated produce. There is more and more evidence that many of the pesticides that were considered safe may be contributing to diseases. There is even evidence that pregnant mothers who are exposed to more pesticides may be more likely to have a child with autism. While I wouldn't use this list to avoid eating these fruits and veggies, these may be better to buy organic. Regardless always wash fruits and veggies thoroughly before eating.Click below to see the list.
